This bachelor thesis deals with strategic analysis of the company Termo Děčín a.s. The thesis is divided into two parts (theoretical and practical). The author defines the theoretical part by using the basic concepts from the literature listed. The practical part parallels the theoretical part where the author applies theoretical knowledge in practical part. It is an analysis of the company both internally and externally. These findings are from a financial analysis which provides the basis for a strategic analysis of the company.

The Strategic Analysis prepared for Raselina a.s. is a graduation thesis, which concentrates on theory, methodology and work experience applied to the strategy and operating management of the company. The theoretical part focuses on general methods and characteristics of strategic analysis. The work experience part summarizes the theoretical and methodological analyses and applies them to analyze the actual internal and external strategy of the company. Based on the results the SWOT analysis is provided. The conclusion is the recap of the results of all analyses and suggestion for the most effective strategy for the company.

Strategic Analysis of an Enterprise

In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on terms related to the strategy of a company and on possibilities and methods used in the analysis itself. The main goal of the practical part of the thesis is to find, if the sales problems and interconnected decline in revenues in a company KSB, spol. s r. o, are caused by competitors and custormes, which is the opinion of its management. To solve the problem I used Porter's Five forces model, which includes other forces (supliers, new entrants and substitutes), that could also play a part in the aforementioned negative situation.
